Description

This is a digital version of the classic card game loved by generations of game players. Apparently, a lot of people like playing poker games, and, this game brought real pokers into your mobiles phones where you can play virtually. Solitaire is a classic poker game, after downloading this app, you can play your solitaire any time and anywhere. The responsive gestures and animations make it even more enjoyable. Players can choose from different game modes and difficulty systems according to their skills and interests. This is one of the best games available to kill your time on a commute or simply want to relax.

How to play

It is played with a 52-card deck shuffled and placed in seven columns, so that the first column has 1 card, the second column has 2 cards, etc. Up to the seventh column which contains 7 cards. The rest of the deck is placed to the side in a section called the stockpile or draw pile, to be drawn from as needed. Above these columns there are also four foundation piles, each one corresponding to one of the suits: Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades. Your goal is to transfer all cards from the tableau to these foundation piles.

To do so, you can draw a card from the top of the stockpile or, if the stockpile is empty and a redeal is permitted, you can shuffle the cards to create a new draw pile. From there, you try to build cards on the foundation piles and move cards between tableau columns. You can only move cards on tableau unless they are the top card of a column and either:

1. A string that can be moved onto a foundation stack. So, for example, if the foundation pile for Hearts has already a Ace and a Two on it, a Three of Hearts can be placed on the next pile.

2. A card of lower rank that can be transferred onto a card in another column of a different color, forming a descending sequence. For instance, a red Seven of Diamonds can be stacked on a black Eight of Clubs.

Empty columns are very important because they are a natural landing spot for Kings or any card that cannot go anywhere else but that starts a new descending sequence. Strategy revolves around the careful management of these spaces, a process that typically necessitates some level of patience and foresight to clear the way for cards to arrive at their respective foundation piles.

When you move all cards over to the foundation piles, with spaces on tableau which is normal (because of moves during the game), the game is won. On the other hand, you lose if you run out of moves and there is no longer a stockpile, and no redeal can be made.
